RC Brown has hired Towry investment director Neil Whelan

Whelan joins the Bristol-based wealth firm’s 10-strong team, working alongside chief executive Alan Beaney and head of managed funds Glenn Meyer.

In his new role, Whelan will manage clients of RC Brown’s bespoke portfolio service, which runs more than £90 million in assets.

Whelan worked for Ashcourt Rowan prior its acquisition by Towry, where he was responsible for the firm’s managed portfolio service, which held around £350 million at the time.
